Into the Sun Communication

First Timers is a documentary series from Into The Sun Entertainment, with distribution by Colors of the Sun Ventures, celebrating the universal experience of beginning. The series explores the pivotal first opportunities that shape the careers of filmmakers, artists, entrepreneurs, innovators, and cultural leaders.

The series will launch theatrically in Los Angeles on September 11, 2026, with a red-carpet event, media coverage, and a post-screening discussion celebrating the inspiring stories featured in the documentary.

The awards campaign will continue through industry screenings, filmmaker conversations, media interviews, soundtrack promotion, and outreach to film and music professionals throughout awards season.

Created by filmmaker and multimedia artist Yi Zhou, First Timers reflects her multidisciplinary approach to filmmaking, art, music, and emerging technology, while highlighting creativity, resilience, and the courage to take the first step.
